what does your heart beat for?

In 1956, Alpha Phi was one of the first women's fraternities to establish a Foundation.  The Alpha Phi Foundation is dedicated to advancing leadership development, encouraging academic excellence, improving women's heart health, supporting sisters in need and educating about the value of philanthropy. It is well known and respected internationally as a prominent philanthropic leader for the Greek community, with our chapters raising over two million dollars annually. Each year the Foundation awards the Heart to Heart Cardiac Care grant to an organization focused on women's cardiac research.

Beta Alpha makes sure to support the Alpha Phi Foundation's mission through various events through the year, such as Mac and Phis, Eat Your Heart Out Taco Dinner, and our annual Red Dress Gala!

#FORGabby

After the passing of one of our sisters, Gabby Ives, after her battle with Cystic Fibrosis, Beta Alpha decided to dedicate one of our events, Alpha Phifa, to her illness. All of the proceeds from this events events go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to further aid its research into treatments and causes of Cystic Fibrosis!

Gabby is dearly missed by everyone, but we hope that through philanthropic efforts, we keep her memory and legacy alive!
